As President of Data-based-Systems.com, Michael Coughlin guides clients, designs, builds and integrates business systems for Conoco-duPont, GE Capital, Allied Signal, Delta-Surprenant Cable, Ball Aerospace, Barrett Oil & Gas and The Paragon.When Conoco-duPont executives discovered Coughlin's ability to see complex systemic relationships, they named him Director, Management Systems, North American Exploration, where he designed and managed building their bidding, capital budgeting & forecasting systems for nine divisions. Previously, Coughlin was asked to run Hughes Aircraft's long-range data processing planning, culminating in a U.S. Air Force corporate commendation for "Best long-range data-processing plans in the defense industry".
Before graduate school for an MBA at U. of Denver (3.9/4.0 GPA), Coughlin worked as a manufacturing and operations analyst, was trained and licensed for estate & business financial planning and went through a bank management training program. He holds a B.S. in Industrial Management from U. of Lowell (formerly Lowell Technological Institute).
